Yasuhiro Fujii and his staff (“we”) manage personal information following this privacy policy regarding handling of personal information

1. Compliance with Personal Information Protection Laws

We will comply with the Personal Information Protection Act, Lawyers Act and other related laws and ordinances (the “Law”) in relation to handling client’s information, including personal information, and manage client information and other personal information appropriately.

2. Collection of Personal Information

We will, as needed for business, collect names, home addresses, jobs, duties, business addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, dates of birth and other personal information in a legitimate and appropriate manner.

3. Use of Personal Information

We will use personal information for the following purposes and to the extent necessary:
(i) provision of legal services and other relevant services;
(ii) invitation or announcement of seminars, publications etc., distribution of newsletters and other manners of provision of information, and other correspondence in the ordinary course of business and customary greetings;
(iii) responses to general or specific inquiries regarding our services or operations;
(iv) the purpose of collection of personal information that was communicated to the information owner on collection;
(v) the purpose of collection of personal information that was agreed to by the information owner after collection;

4. Management of Personal Information

In order to prevent any leakage of, loss of, or damage to personal information, we will implement information security and other safety management measures.

5. Disclosure of Personal Information to a Third Party

We will not disclose personal information compiled in our database to a third party without obtaining the information owner’s prior consent, except where otherwise permissible under the Law.
